Someone recently shared this video with me and I just had to post it here!

The video is Justine Paradise  on TikTok. She is absolutely adorable by the way!

I replayed it more times that I care to admit.  Justine isn’t apologizing for the size of her hands, or trying to hide them behind some carefully angled sleeve trick. She’s celebrating them, fingers wide, palms open!

We’re taught early on when you are female that certain parts of you should be dainty. Wrists should be slender, fingers tapered, palms small enough to disappear inside someone else’s. Justine’s video is a one minute rebuttal to all of that. 

 I absolutely am in love with her confidence and how proud she is of those big beautiful hands. We all need more Justines in this world.

The Power of Hands: Rediscovering Raven's Lair and the Art of Self-Recognition

One thing that I have noticed is that there isn't enough love given to hands.
